Giagia’s Kitchen

A Family of Objects

Collaboration with Sarah Templin

Developed from exploring 3D sketches, these tools create new food shapes – billowing sea creatures, curving fans and tiny succulents all come to mind. We set out to encourage social, tactile cooking; the kind where everyone crowds into the kitchen to cook and catch up over a long leisurely evening.

Each tool is made from a flat sheet of copper and will undoubtedly be passed down for generations to come.
